Embed Brimbank Tech School’s industry-driven programs into your curriculum. These programs can be delivered fully at Brimbank Tech School, or through a hybrid approach where lesson plans and resources allow the program to be delivered in your classroom, with key visits to Brimbank Tech School built in.
All programs incorporate the elements of learning and teaching in the VTLM 2.0, promoting student agency and effective learning for all students.
Esports Entrepreneurial Program
Building business ventures in competitive gaming
Students become an event crew that designs, markets and runs an esports tournament.
Teams take on roles including marketing, logo design, broadcast and streaming, player management and cyber safety, culminating in a live or hybrid event for the school community.
STEM Racing
Applying science and engineering on the racetrack
Team up in groups of 3 to 6 students, ages 9 to 19, to design, manufacture, and race a miniature F1® racing car in an exciting STEM challenge. This project allows you to apply what you’ve learned in class to real-world scenarios.
Collaborate to develop key project elements, including Design & Engineering and Marketing portfolios, while delivering a compelling verbal presentation. Learn essential Project Management skills as you bring your vision to life. Finally, compete against other STEM RACING teams from around the world, all striving for the ultimate goal: to become the World Champions!
Wearable Technology for the Future of Healthcare
Innovating devices that track and improve health
Students explore wearable technology in health and sport by designing and prototyping smart garments that collect and analyse biometric data using sensors and AI.
Through industry partnerships and human-centred design, students gain hands-on experience in MedTech innovation and real-world application.
