A core feature of the Tech School is a regular calendar of free events.

These free events provide students, teachers and the community with access to inspiring young people, business leaders, VU researchers, networking opportunities, competitions and promote aspirational thinking around careers individuals may have not thought possible or achievable.

Women in Tech
7 October

A unique event tailored for female students, offering an exclusive chance to engage with accomplished women working in the tech industry.

 

Students will explore tech career pathways as they participate in hands-on activities and connect directly with female tech experts from the Level Crossing Removal Project.

Deadly Tech Day
20 June (Year 10-12)

A fun hands-on event designed to inspire, mentor, and nurture the career aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

 

Students will explore the world of technology and gain insights from successful Indigenous professionals.

STEM Education & Industry Conference

Connecting educational leaders and industry professionals to explore and understand the STEM landscape.

Excel Micro Certifcation

Wyndham Tech School will facilitate the Microsoft Office Specialist Associate Excel exam. Students would have previously completed self-paced modules to complete the exam, demonstrating their competency in powerful data analytics and processing.
